Return and Refund Policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy

At CRT Business Capital Inc., we pride ourselves on delivering precise strategic consulting and rapid financial solutions. Because of the nature of our financial and advisory services, our refund and cancellation terms are structured differently than a standard retail business. Please review the policies below regarding our various service divisions.

1. Executive Consulting & Corporate Structuring

Our business blueprinting, corporate structuring, and strategic advisory services require significant time and intellectual capital from our executive team.

  • Deposits: Any upfront deposits paid to initiate business planning, financial modeling, or corporate structuring are non-refundable. This covers the initial strategic assessment and resource allocation.
  • Third-Party Fees: Fees paid for third-party services—such as NUANS name searches, provincial/federal incorporation filing fees, or software licenses (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 50)—are strictly non-refundable once the transaction has been executed on your behalf.
  • Service Cancellation: If you choose to terminate a consulting agreement before the project is completed, you will be billed pro-rata for the hours our team has already worked and any deliverables completed up to the date of cancellation. Any remaining balance from your retainer (excluding third-party fees and the initial deposit) will be refunded to your original method of payment within 10-15 business days.

2. Small Business & Consumer Lending Products

Funds dispersed through our working capital loans or consumer micro-lending divisions cannot be "returned" for a refund in the traditional sense. These transactions are governed by your specific Loan Agreement.

  • Cooling-Off Period (Rescission): Applicants may cancel their approved loan agreement without penalty within [Insert Number, e.g., 48] hours of signing, provided the funds have not yet been dispersed to your bank account or paid to a third-party vendor (such as an airline or electronics retailer).
  • Post-Disbursement: Once loan funds have been dispersed, the loan cannot be cancelled. If you wish to return the borrowed funds, it will be treated as an early repayment. Please refer to your Loan Agreement for details on early repayment terms and whether any prepayment penalties apply.

3. Financial Software Training & Workshops

  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel a scheduled training session for accounting software or operational workflows, you must provide at least 48 hours' written notice to receive a full refund or to reschedule without penalty.
  • Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or failure to attend a scheduled training session, will result in the forfeiture of the training fee.
